There are rarely good posts which can help user to select which platform they should select. And mentioned the most important ones with their important qualities is just great.
I personally have my blog on blogger.com and I am looking into Joomla for future development purposes.

This is wonderful list of Blogging platforms.
In my earlier days of blogging, I user Google blogger but after that I register my domain on WordPress and now I have about 3 website on WordPress and I think WordPress is more powerful that Google blogger. it has great plugin for easy use. also have Tumble account but I never used other platform I think WordPress is best of all of them.
